Extractions

If extractions are necessary, they can be carried out under local or general anaesthesia. Should the extraction require a surgical approach, we have full use of the theatre facilities at the Ibn Nafees Hospital at our disposal.

Implants

Titanium implants are used to replace those teeth which cannot be replaced by any other method.

Restorations

Restoration of teeth can be undertaken by simple fillings to the ultimate crown or veneer. Each type of treatment and material has its place in the mouth, and our Dentists are very happy to discuss with you the advantages and indeed disadvantages of each! Your satisfaction is our concern.

Crowns and Bridges

These are made in pure Porcelain or Porcelain bonded to gold and precious metals and acrylic.

Root Canal Treatment

Endodontics, or more commonly root canal treatment, is concerned with the treatment of teeth which are dead, cracked or have diseased pulps. We attempt to retain these teeth using modern specialist equipment and our expertise in this procedure.

Children's Dentistry

All kinds of dental treatment including flouride application, fissure sealant, simple filling, pulpotomy, extraction under general anaesthesia, etc.

Orthodontics

Teeth are straigthened by using removable and fixed appliances. Available in visible and invisible brackets.

Oral Surgery

Surgical extractions, enucleation of oral/dental cysts, abnormal growth in the oral cavity, apicectomies, impacted canines, impacted wisdom teeth, and dental and oral trauma cases under local or general anaesthesia.

Veneer

Veneer is a layer of material placed over a tooth, veneers improve the aesthetics of a smile and/or protect the tooth's surface from damage. There are two main types of material used to fabricate a veneer: composite and dental porcelain.

Scaling and root planning

Scaling and root planning, also known as conventional periodontal therapy, non-surgical periodontal therapy, or deep cleaning, is a procedure involving removal of dental plaque and calculus (scaling or debridement) and then smoothing, or planning, of the (exposed) surfaces of the roots, removing cementum or dentine that is impregnated with calculus, toxins, or microorganisms, the etiologic agents that cause inflammation.
